The Butler Farm Show Aiport in Butler County willreceive $112,500 for construction of security perimeter fencing. The money comes from Pennsylvania’s tax on jet fuel and is administeredf bythe . The three Pittsburgh-ares grants are among 16 being madethroughout Pennsylvania.
In all, the statee is spending $3 million and leveraging $904,800 in local matching The otherprojects are: in Bucks County, whicu will receive $225,000 to assistt with the purchase of land beloww the approach to the airport; in Cambrias County, which will receive $30,00 to repair fuel facility equipment; in Centre which will receive $750,000 for a project to widehn and pave the runway; in Centre which will receive $123,750 to buy a jet refuelintg vehicle; in Cumberland County, whicg will receive $183,750 for a runway lighting system project; in Dauphi n County, which will receive $135,900 for an aircraft parking and taxiway project; in Lancaster County, whicy will receive $210,000 for an aircraft parking and taxiwag project; in Labanon which will receive $37,500 to buy snow removap and mowing equipment; in Lehigh County, whichy will receive $58,500 for pavement in McKean County, whichh will receive $112,500 to buy 20 acres of land for future development; in Montgomery County, whichh will receive $82,500 to continuew the removal of runway obstructionse and improve safety; in Northampton which will receive $127,500 for new runwayu lights and a new electrical vault, and in Wyomin County, which will receive $375,000 for airfiel d and terminal improvements.
