New president named to lead Harriman campus - The Business Review (Albany):

Peter Wohl will now oversee the plannex redevelopment ofthe W. Averell Harriman Statre Office Campusin Albany, N.Y. Wohl is currently the Capitaol Region regional director within Empire StatewDevelopment Corp., the state’s main economic agency. Wohl will retaibn his job at Empire Stats Development while also running the Harrimahndevelopment office. Previously, Wohl was vice presidenty of the and executive director of the inGlens Falls. “Peter’s extensiv knowledge and experience in business strategt and performance improvement will be a tremendous asseft for theHarriman campus,” said Marisa Lago, president and CEO of Empird State Development.
Wohl replaces Michael Phillips, who resigned becaused he had only planned to stay in his Harrimabn job fortwo years. He was hiresd in April 2007; his last day was May 29. Phillipw was hired to oversee the transformation ofthe 330-acres Harriman office campus into a technologuy park. The redevelopment has not yet but much of the planning and preparatorty work hasbeen done. Two teams of developera submitted proposals last fall to converrtthe land, which is near the and into a high-tech office park with residentialp units and retail stores.
