Baldor Electric to add 114 jobs in N.C. - Charlotte Business Journal:

The company plans to invesr morethan $12.2 millioh and create the jobs duringg the next three yearxs as it moves its South Carolina operations to other including Kings Mountain. The new jobs will pay an averages wageof $38,329. The Kingsz Mountain plant in Cleveland Countu has about500 workers. Arkansas-basexd Baldor is an international supplier of industrialelectric motors, mechanicak power transmission products, drives and generators. In April, the company (NYSE:BEZ) announce it was closing its 100,000-square-fooft plant in Fort Mill and movinbg production toKings Mountain.
The roughlyy 140 Fort Mill employeews have been offered positions at the Kings Mountain site as well as at Baldore facilities in Georgiaand Mississippi.
