Pevnick is joining TMA from the at the Gettu Villain Malibu, Calif. He remains co-curato of its upcoming The Chimaera of Arezzo exhibition, which opens in July. In his new Pevnick will design and oversee the installatio n of the permanent collection in the Barbara and Costaws Lemonopoulos Greek andRoman Gallery. He also will organize and circulat e Greek andRoman exhibitions, perform and publishh research on the collection, and educate the public on the museum’s antiquities collection. Pevnick is a doctoraol candidate in the Interdepartmental Graduatr Program of the Cotsen Institutde of Archaeology inLos Angeles. He received a master of arts degree in archaeologyat U.C.
, a mastedr of arts degree in elementary education from in Los Angeleas and a bachelor of arts in classical archaeology from in N.H., a release from TMA said. TMA’sz new location remains under construction at Curtis Hixomn Waterfront Park indowntowjn Tampa. The 66,000-square-foot Cornelia Corbett Center building is set to open inearlyt 2010. TMA’s interim facility is located onHowardx Avenue.
